Can performance cam shafts be used on the Sagem engine?

Yes performance cam shafts can be installed on the Sagem engine however a simple ECU chip upgrade will be require to allow the engine to run correctly with its new engine specification.

We are more than happy to supply an upgraded cam shaft for the Sagem engine but not until the ECU chips have been upgraded. The reason for this is that the ECU will go into 'Limp Mode' if the engines sensors return anything back other than the expected values. The ignition system is very important also to enable the engine to burn the improved air/fuel mixture.

Therefor the first thing to consider is upgrading the ignition system with Magnecor plug leads and chipping the ECU with our Tornado chip set.
