Purchasing a Self Fit LPG Kit was this customer choice. He received a complete kit from us and then got his spanners out to install it ultimately saving money not only on fuel once fitted but also on labour on installing the kit itself.
Once fitted he brought this very nicely restored and maintained Thames Van to us for the kits fitting inspection, commissioning and certification. It was a thumbs up from Steve (our resident LPG installer) and not long after his arrival the customer was delighted in the sound of his V8 running on LPG!!
This 1986 model Thames 400E has a mid mounted Ford V8.
Now that should turn some heads!!
With a 4 barrel carburettor sitting on top of this Ford V8 one of our unique power plenum's was installed which the customer agreed also gave a nice finishing look to his engine.
