Rover P5b's in all there glory!!

At RPi we often have some very specail memorable moments and this one will go down in our records as very unique indeed.

Here you can see four very imaculate P5b's with one coupe, they all came in for our new bespoke 4.6 Cos-cast engine upgrades and two of them also benafited from a 4 speed auto conversion too.

For further information on both engine upgrades, engine replacment, 4 speed auto conversions, bespoke stainless steel exhaust systems and Intercepter rear axle conversions (LSD and Disc Brakes) please contact us with details of the vehicle you have. info@v8engines.com

Roger Moore was even filmed driving a P5b in The Man Who Haunted Himself (YouTube Link)

You can't see the 4.6 capacity but you can see from these engine pictures how not only can we upgrade to a more modern high torque engine bout we can also we keep the classic 60/70's look buy uttalising the later 1980's type FASD twin carburettors and powder coating all engine covers etc to that of original.

P5's with 4.6 litre engines are not for Boy Racers, indeed the weight of such cars demands the high torque of the 4.6 engine and should have been the original engine choice. The V8 3.5 was exciting for sure in the 70's when comparing with 2.5 from Triumph and small V8's from Daimler but its truly lacking the status required for modern times.

When you Drive a P5 with a 4.6 V8 upgrade, the first thing that comes to mind is 1970's gangster movies, this like the triumph 2500 was the car of the few, however with the torque of a 4.6 engine one can't help but think it would have been the best getaway car of the age :-)

Here you can see many more images of the P5's
