P38 Range Rover - Repairs

The images below have been sent to us over the past few months from one of our customers in Australia, Richard W. Originally finding us through our eBay shop to enquire about upgrading his engine in his P38 Range Rover we later found out that he had been involved in a bad accident with his Range Rover. Infact its probably the safety features and strong build of the P38 that saved his life.

Not content with upgrading his old engine his decided to purchase a Brand New 4.6 litre engine from us and have the ancillary items powder coated in Chrome Effect.

Not only the supply of an engine but with our huge stock of second hand fully tested spares we also supplied a large amount of parts needed to repair his beloved Range Rover.

You may have seen these images before in our Picture Gallery. Well this is the show finish engine which travelled half way across the globe to be with Richard W and his P38.

With a brand new chassis and all drivetrain items checked and replaced where necessary there was a perfect slot for that 4.6 V8. Then with the front body structure repaired and sprayed it was D day for Richard and his mechanic to join the body and chassis.

We also helped Richard source some very special Holland and Holland Picnic tables, something that he had been searching for for a little over a year. Along with these new Holland and Holland door and dash trims where also sent across the pond.

So with many hours spent sourcing parts, preparing, spraying and decision making Richards P38 is almost ready. Hopefully he will send us a picture of him and his car out and about one finished.
